Rev. Barbara Cousar
Rev. Cousar’s academic education includes: Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, Richmond, VA, Master of Divinity program. J. Sargent Reynolds Community College, cum laude, computer operations. Phi Thea Kappa National Honor Fraternity, Evans-Smith Leadership Training Institute; Cortez Peters Business College, Washington, DC; University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She is a graduate of Armstrong High School, Richmond, VA.
Rev. Cousar is retired from Reynolds Metals Company, was a business instructor at Centura College West in Richmond, and a clerk at the Richmond City Community Health Clinic.
She came to John Mann/Wesley Cooperative Parish in 2017 from the Tidewater District. She grew up in Richmond and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
